I’m drinking a fabulous vanilla roobios tea latte from Starbucks this afternoon and an ‘ah-ha’ moment hits when I read ‘The Way I See It #26′ as it appears on the cup: Failure’s hard, but success is far more dangerous. If you’re successful at the wrong thing, the mix of praise and money and opportunity can lock you in forever.
Wow.
Do you ever notice that when you’re good at something, then people ask you to do it again and again? And you get comfortable at being good at it, so you keep doing it?! To the point where you may not even enjoy it anymore, but you’re good at it and it’s comfortable now, so what’s the big deal?!
I know I’ve experienced that both professionally and personally before and I’m sure I’m not alone! The question is, when your afternoon tea sends you a wake-up call, what do you do with that call?

Perhaps we receive some degree of wake-up call everyday but aren’t always in the present moment to be aware of it?
I’m going to take a moment to breathe deep, go within, connect to the divine and envision a few things as already real in my life….ahhhhh….
